The Foundation is organized and operated in a manner and for purposes that will allow it to b exempt from Federal income tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Contributions may be tax deductible for income, estate, and gift tax purposes. The federal tax identification number of the Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation is 85-0469089.

Funding our Mission

Memorials

Donations may be made to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation to commemorate any occasion. Upon receipt, a card announcing the donation will be sent to both the donor and the honoree or family.

Please remember the Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation when thinking of honorariums, gifts, or memorials for yourself or loved ones, made in lieu of gifts or flowers.

Annual Pledge of Support

Annual pledges are important contributions to the Foundation's working budget. Donors may elect to make a one—time donation or they may contribute on an ongoing monthly basis. Monies are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Long–Term Giving Goal

Contributions may be scheduled over time to reach a long—gift goal. They are tax eductible to the extent allowed by law.

Life Insurance

The Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation may be the designated beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or may be the owner and beneficiary. Either option give the donor attractive tax options.

Charitable Lead Trust

This option permits the owner of a strong investment portfolio to reduce taxes without reducing the portfolio. Annual earned income is given to the Foundation for a specified number of years. At the end of that period, earnings revert back to the owner for retirement, education or the estate.

Wills

The Foundation will assist individuals and their legal advisors as they consider a bequest to the Foundation.
