JoAnna Cooper

JoAnna Cooper

JoAnna Cooper is an amateur photographer who specializes in weddings, special events, portraitures and still life. She also enjoys digital art, album, 8-track and photographic memorabilia collecting, and anything Frank Sinatra. JoAnna was drawn to the Foundation’s mission because of her long tenure as an employee of the Heart Hospital of New Mexico. She hopes to display the Foundation’s success through her photos.

Nancy Flanagan

Nancy Flanagan

Nancy has lived in Albuquerque since 1988. She moved here from Melbourne, FL, and has worked for Wells Fargo since June 2003 as a Business Relationship Manager with the Professional Banking Department.

In addition to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation, Nancy serves on the Finance Committee of the Girl Scouts’ Chaparral Council and is active in the American Sewing Guild as well as the Aesthetics Guild. Nancy is also active in food preparation for St. Martin’s Hospitality Center.

Virginia McKee

Virginia "Gena" McKee

Gena has had many years experience in fund raising for different charities in New Mexico. She served as development director at the university of Albuquerque before becoming chairman of the board of trustees. She was involved in the forming of a foundation for the Governor’s Mansion in Santa Fe and served as chairman of that foundation for several years.

Her love of golf has kept her involved in many charitable golf tournaments, and she is looking forward to helping the Heart Hospital Foundation’s tournament in the fall.

Martha Mowry

Martha Mowry

Martha has been in the medical field for 26 years. She worked at the New Mexico Heart Institute for 25 years. She has worked at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico for almost 1 year where she serves as the Physician Liaison. She has 2 wonderful sons, Michael and Matthew who are in college. She is married to cardiologist, Frank Mowry. Martha and Frank spend their free time in San Diego.

Maxann Shwartz

Dr. Maxann Shwartz

Upon receiving a golf scholarship to the University of New Mexico, Dr. Max completed her education and set out to make her mark as a professional golfer. Competing in mini tours events, she soon realized there had to be a better way to make a living! Max opted to change out her "straight jacket" for a "white" jacket. She returned to school and is currently the only LPGA Class "A" teaching professional who is also a practicing licensed psychologist.

Dr. Max has been published in both Golf Tips Magazine and Golf For Women Magazine. She was also a regular guest on the hit radio show, "Tee Time" which was aired in the Palm Springs area. One of Dr. Max's highlights was being named as a top 50 instructor in 2002 by Golf For Women Magazine.
